Marielyst is a holiday center with 156 houses and a capacity of 800 guests, and is as such, closed during the winter months. The organization is thus formed each spring.
The centers have annual revenue of DKK 28 million and approximate 25 employees.
Responsible for the operation and development of the two centers, including activities, budget and results, concepts and development of the organizations.
I was, at the same time, also responsible for various projects on group level, with reference to the Board.
I was in charge of a F&B project, with the purpose of analyzing the possibilities for home / out sourcing the restaurants on all the Danish centers, including concepts and negotiations with future suppliers on this field.

Employed in the head office in Oslo and Copenhagen, respectively, with reference to Managing Director Peter Haaber. My employment included an initial two years in Norway with various projects due to the group´s strong expansion.
From year 2000 to 2002 I worked as Assistant General Manager at the new build First hotel in Copenhagen, with 403 rooms, restaurant and bar, 85 employees and annual revenue of close to DKK 100 million. I was responsible for the operation, results, sales, budget, outsourcing and the staff. The 6 head of departments was reporting direct to me.
Opening of the hotel, and satisfactory increased revenue in the period – supported by successful negotiations with International cruise operators. Also substantial development in service and quality levels.
