Admissions and Educational Marketing Director
Responsibilities & tasks:
1) Developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies to increase the number of quality students at NES:
• Making proposals regarding the development of educational programs, tuition, financial aid policies etc. to ensure that NES educational programs are competitive.
• Developing marketing and communication plans to achieve admission goals.
• Managing the marketing and admissions campaigns:
- Preparing content (interviews/videos/special projects and events with professors, students and alumni etc.) for promoting NES through Internet (Web-site, SMM, advertising through social networks, direct mailing campaigns) and off-line.
- Organizing open houses, open lectures and other events that attract prospective students.
- Coordinating development of marketing materials – brochures, videos, presentations etc.
2) Leading the Admissions and Marketing Department and admissions campaigns:
• Developing, managing and directing Admissions and Marketing Department (setting the department’s budget, developing action plans, supervising employees etc.).
• Developing admissions rules and organizing special admissions events (Olympiads, preparatory courses etc. ) aimed at increasing the number of quality students.
• Organizing NES admissions committee’s work - working with members of the administration, faculty, students and alumni to organize specific efforts for attracting and retaining students.
• Ensuring that all legislative requirements regarding admissions are met.
3) Recruiting new students:
• Attracting ambassadors (students, alumni, employees) who help promote the School and its programs.
• Helping ambassadors with scheduling visits to high schools and colleges as well as with presentations and talking to prospective students about what the School offers and what advantages are in place (high quality education, promising career, interesting campus life etc.).
• Providing individual consultations for prospective students and their parents regarding entering NES.
• Overseeing the process of admissions to the School.
Achievements:
• 2 new master’s programs were successfully promoted and marketed.
• The number of students increased by 15% in 2015 and by 40 % in 2016.
• Such activities as launching and marketing new programs, NES Olympiad, new financial aid rules, more aggressive marketing and advertising campaigns allowed to increase the number of students with NES prices which were 70-100% higher than those of competitors and with the lack of budget places (only 10 budget places in 2015 and 20 budget places in 2016).
