I am a disciplined, well organized person with a natural ability as a leader. As a confident person I am able to be flexible and adapt accordingly to an environment. I am enthusiastic and always willing to learn. My seagoing experience has mainly been on Cruise Vessels as Senior Officer, which has emphasized my safety culture and mental model. I believe there is a solution in any kind of complicated situation. I am very focused and dedicated to my job with a lot of regular training and refreshers all the time, under strict appointment by Carnival. I know I am very valuable to my team and the leadership qualities I possess make me a strong link to my team’s performance. I hold a Master Unlimited Ticket, having built up my experience and sea time in the commercial industry. I have been working for one world’s leading Cruise Corporations, Carnival, on board their Princess Cruise Liners as Senior Ranks. The Cruise industry requires you to be in the highest level of training, that’s why Carnival Corporation built one of the most advanced and up-to-date training centers in Holland called CSMART. All officers are required to go for training at least once a year to complete PTA’s (Proficiency Test Assessment – dealing with randomized emergency situations), COLREGs Exam, BRM (Bridge Resource Management), Nacos /ECDIS (Phase 1,2), Stability Course, Ships Handling and Leadership among others
