For Anything.» - organization and control of all aspects of production starting from bidding and selection of production technology, estimation, crew selection, building relationship with the customer, planning of the project timing, provision of delivering against deadlines, etc; - ability to find solutions to any problems during production; - familiarity with different production technologies: animation, CG, HD, 3D modeling, blue screen…; - shooting and post pro on domestic market and abroad; - awareness of trends in production, i.e.: 3D-stereography; - ability to change perspective on a job, switching to what’s working better versus the initial plan; - search of directors to match project and director; managing directors and keeping them motivated (some of these great guys can have a “strong vision” for how a commercial needs to be done, and will walk away if the approach isn’t agreed upon); - careful liaison and negotiation with creative personalities; - creative approach: I’ve had to work out how to look through personal contacts of hundreds of friends for a model-looking girl for the main heroine; hunt for a soviet-time vintage camera and sound equipment for period set dressing; put on a Marry Poppins hat to cheer up a whining kid at the shoot; - management of the perfect docflow (contracts with customers and suppliers, agreements with actors, directors, copyright holders…); - management of budget; negotiations with suppliers; special deals; ability to find solutions to fit into the low budget productions (i.e.: cast for the Cosmopolitan TVC) • diplomacy as the cornerstone to manage with producer’s role complexity; • creativity; • a keen customer-focus; • high-level communication and organizational skills that are essential to the role; • profound knowledge of suppliers; • ability to evaluate situation and act decisively; • strong analytical skills; • ability to work under time pressure ADDITIONAL DATA Fluent English; excellent computer skills; enjoy active sports, traveling.
