Beside the industrial projects, I have also developed a good experience in “luxury building projects” (i.e. villas, palaces, exclusive residences, vip offices, hotels, boutiques...) in Russia, the ex-Soviet Union Republics and in the Middle East, for the selection of exclusive natural stones and for the supply of high quality furniture in cooperation with interior designers, architects and Contract Companies.
For different industrial projects, I have cooperated with international organizations, financial institution and donors, such as UN, EU, WORLD BANK, IFC, EBRD, OPIC, DAI, HTSPE, USAID, UKAID, FAIDA, IESC and others.
I worked both "INSIDE" the companies (area manager, technical sales director...), and also "OUTSIDE" the companies (international markets adviser, business developer and representative agent..) and I have the advantage to understand well and know how to manage these two different business approaches.
I have developed projects and experience with the ADVANCED INTERNATIONAL MARKETS, but I also have followed carefully the NEWLY DEVELOPING MARKETS, rich in raw materials (gas, oil, mining... ) and today in very fast growth and development, such as Russia, the Ex-Soviet Union Republics, some African countries, Iran, Qatar and also Afghanistan.
In AFGHANISTAN, with great difficulties and risks, I have realized in 2010 the very first, modern project for quarrying and processing the white Herat marble,in cooperation with high quality suppliers of advanced machines and processing plants. For my Afghan market, I have been appointed as international Technical Adviser and Member of the Board of the "Marble Center of Excellence (COE)", in cooperation with the US Government (US Department of Commerce), USAID and I have held different technical trainings in various Afghan locations.
IRAN is another important market where I finalized contracts and supplies before the embargo and where today, with the new international re-opening of the country, I am following new projects in cooperation with well introduced local partners.
