Participated in the development of the commutes system, which allows customers to create repeating itineraries (i. e. they regularly travel from Sutton to London, and thus they don't want to purchase tickets every week). My job was to develop the commute disruption detection system with the dedicated team in order to ensure that our customers would be persistently informed lest a commute for a given day not be possible. Enhanced the ticket barcode generation system to support reliable, secure, and cutting-edge type of tickets, cooperating with the related teams.

Project: GlobalEdit — a platform for creative teams and large businesses, which allows users to pick the best images out of a substantial amount of unprocessed assets with the help of multiple tools that facilitate the overall business workflow, allowing multiple parties to engage in the discussion (e. g. photographer, manager, retoucher). Technologies: AWS, ASP. NET Core, PostgreSQL, and Couchbase. Achievements: — A large chunk of migration tool had been written, and the image metadata migration and the image markups migration tools were implemented to migrate our users from a legacy application. — Participated in the development of a number of image/video metadata-related features like spreadsheets Import-Export, Metadata Search, etc. — At some point, I was leading the team, organising the communication between the business and our team’s developers

Project: OZON Warehouse Management System (WMS). This project is a hinge of the OZON business since OZON is one of the leading E-Commerce marketplaces in the Russian market. Technologies: ASP.NET Core 2.1, PostgreSQL, Kafka, GitLab CI/CD Achievements: — Increased the speed of the sorting stage of the warehouse by 25% after the introduction of various technical/business optimisations. — Improved the level of development culture inside the team. I’ve refreshed the Code Review practices and written the code style guide.

Project: NDA. Technologies used: .NET Core 2.1, React.JS, TypeScript, MSSQL, Entity Framework, Serilog. Achievements: — Enhanced the client validation system for one of the projects that we were working on. This reduced the amount of negative user feedback and backend errors. — Participated in the integration of the Agile methodology and business processes restructuring, adding Atlassian Jira, and GitLab CI/CD to the technology stack of the team. — Decreased MSSQL DB load by 30% by optimizing queries, and indexes and revamping the overall DB structure

Project: cash register data aggregator, Taxcom-OFD. Technologies used: C#, ASP.NET, MSSQL, React.JS. Personal Achievements: — Moved project from .NET 4.6.1 to .NET Core 2. — Participated in the development of a big amount of features which included API improvements, data analytics, 3rd party integrations. Over the course of my work on this project, we achieved a 40% client retention increase and a 14% overall revenue increase. — Eliminated ~100 bugs, and helped the QA team with auto-tests integration as a C# consultant

Project: Taxcom-Docliner. This tool allows companies to submit documents to other businesses and government institutions, streamlining the whole intercompany communication process. Technologies: WPF, Infragistics UI Components, SQLite DB. Achievements: — Helped with writing additional utilities for the QA team which has beneficially influenced the bug detection rate: there was an increase in the number of bug tickets created by 14% month-to-month after the tool release. — Made UI/client logic improvements

Project: An app for vending machines named "Boxy". Its purpose was to give the ordered food to customers. Technologies: WPF, MahApps Metro Achievements: - XAML/C# code refactoring, the speed of an app has drastically increased, and client retention has improved by 15%. — Applied the design changes, the application became much more recognizable and modern-looking which has largely contributed to the 20% per month revenue increase compared to the previous year. — Fixed the crucial bug which caused the vending machine to turn off randomly, we were able to save $200/mo per machine on that. — Added a user guide/info screen. This change alone has slashed the number of support requests by 9%.

Project: VMetre, a service for online property-related document retrieval. Technologies: ASP. NET MVC, MSSQL, RabbitMQ, NodeJS, JavaScript, Angular Achievements: — Implemented generation of 4 brand new document types, which were scrapped from the “Rosreestr” website and transformed to our custom data format. — Performed code refactoring. I moved the project to .NET Core. Added RabbitMQ for clients’ requests for durability. — Prepared landings HTML/CSS layout, added complicated input forms, displayed documents in a human-readable format (originally, these were in XML)
