The objective of the project was to: design – establish – implement Shared Services (SS) organization (business support functions e.g. HR; HSSE; Logistics & Infrastructure; Finance; Office Services; Central Engineering; General Management etc. - $400M/Year) cost reporting & management and MIS reporting in SAP. The process was implemented and fed to the company-wide Financial / Performance Management Reporting & Business Planning Process & Cycle. SS Allocation Model was implemented and rolled-out (8% saving in Opex).

3. Transportation Hub / Unit (estimated spend ca. $10 bn) - UAE
The objective of the project was to: review & re-establish business process relating to: performance reporting & management information. Adequate reporting tools & techniques were tested / assessed / implemented as part of Annual Business Planning & Monthly Management Information Reporting Cycle in Oracle (7 finance & business analytics staff eliminated / saved).

4. Regional Municipality (estimated spend ca. $2 bn for 2010 – 2020) – UAE
The objective of the project was to: review; analyze and test Infrastructure & Construction projects’ related project & program management costs and performance tracking tools for matter of: correctness; accuracy and adequacy of accounting records and finance data. Core Accounting/Finance/Cost Reporting processes and tools were designed from the scratch and implemented.

5. Offshore Joint Venture Energy Company (Crude oil production: 275K boed) - Qatar
The objective of the project was to: oversee consolidation of business planning (budgeting; forecasting & re-forecasting; cost run-rate analysis for both: corporate functions and operations) reporting and monitoring for Management’s awareness. Managed all accounting processes ensuring: integrity; accuracy and adequacy of all: accounting; finance and business data recorded and reported (Month/Quarter/Year–ends). Performed annual audit process support including liaison with external auditors.

6. GTL (Gas-To-Liquids) Company: synthetic fuel plant based in industrial area converting natural gas and producing low sulphur, diesel, naptha and LPG. Processing capacity: 60K boepd – Qatar
The objective of the project was to: design & implement corporate management reporting pack: revenue; cost (direct & in-direct); products’ cost base and profit margins; Performed a comprehensive working capital (cash; inventory; payables &receivables) analysis. The team established reporting tools to conduct performance and trends’ analysis for: revenues; costs; profit margins and cash components.

7. National Drilling Company (largest drilling company in the Middle East with: total fleet of 95 rigs; history of +7,200 drilled wells) – UAE
The objective of the project was to: review; diagnose and re-establish core accounting & finance related processes (O2C; P2P; C2R and Plan2Perform – All SAP Based); Ensure correctness all accounting records and financial data in compliance with IFRS & IAS for matter of: business & management and stakeholders’ reporting purposes. Performed 3-annual external audit process support including liaison with external auditors.

The objective of the project was to: design & implement cost allocation model for Terminal Operations (Support & Infrastructure; Storage and Processing Facilities). Assets with total value of $1.5Bn.; Annual Opex - $250M.. Annual WP&B; Business reporting and Management Information Pack was prepared and rolled-out.

The objective of the project was to: prepare and roll-out Annual and 5-year business planning process (incl. forecasting; cost Margin Run-Rate Analysis) for the company and its subsidiaries. Company-wide annual business planning; Budgeting & Forecasting; Economic & Unit Cost Models and Financial Analysis were refined and presented to the: Management; BoDs and Shareholders.

The objective of the project was to: develop finance organizational strategies by contributing adequate accounting; finance and business data; analysis and recommendations into the company’s long-term strategic plan & objectives. Functional objectives were established. Conducted regular financial analysis for business improvement opportunities. Overseen standard and ad-hoc analysis to support product lines business performance. Led comprehensive business planning (budgeting & forecasting) processes at the product line level. Assisted in CAPEX portfolio management and evaluation.
