EMPLOYMENT HISTORY August 2024 - February 2025: British Lyceum, Moscow Deputy Director/Development and Promotion 2023 - 2025: British Lyceum, Moscow - Teaching Global Perspectives (GP) in English to Lower Secondary students (Years 7-9). Being part of the Cambridge International Programme, GP course encourages awareness of global problems and offers opportunities to explore solutions through collaboration. The emphasis is on developing the ability to think critically about global issues where there is always more than one point of view. March 2002 – January 2024: Multimedia Producer / Head of English Language Teaching, BBC Moscow bureau. - Running the ELT internet project: I planned, produced, published and promoted learning material. Achievements: 1) as Head of the English Language Teaching Department, I managed to transform Learning English (non-political project) from a small-scale mandatory website’s index into an exciting mini-site - currently one of most popular multimedia resources among Russian-speaking audiences of the BBC; LE has become an important tool of the BBC brand's promotion. 2) I initiated, planned and implemented two fascinating multimedia projects: video quiz show with students' participation, a joint project with the Maurice Thorez Institute of Foreign Languages, HSE University and MPGU, and cartoons series "English In A Minute". 3) I have launched BBC Learning English community in Vk.com. Not only have I updated it with new learning material, but also I have regularly communicated with its subscribers via chats. As of 1 Jan 2024 the community has got over 375,000 followers. - I liaised with marketing and business development teams on expanding and maintaining the network of partner websites with an aim of promoting BBC's educational content in Russia; - I initiated, organised and conducted large-scale ELT presentations and seminars at universities, schools and companies' offices in Moscow, St-Petersburg, Voronezh, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Ekaterinburg; - I held ELT training sessions for colleagues in the Moscow bureau with a view to improve their bilingual skills. - 2003-2006: I occasionally сovered for office manager (administrative and financial duties). 2013-2014: taught English to senior students (English For Specific Purposes, including Business English) at private school with extensive learning of English and economics in Moscow. 2014 - taught English to the 4th year students (courses 'Pitfalls Of Translation' and 'Business English') at Moscow Institute Of Foreign Languages. 2003 - date: providing language coaching to groups of students and individuals. July 1996-June 2001 Teacher of English, Branch of North-Eastern Federal University in the city of Mirny (Yakutia) Achievements: - I launched Open-Learning Center at the Foreign Languages Faculty. - I was the Faculty's thesis supervisor and my students passed with distinction. - I successfully conducted a series of teacher training courses in Lensk, Verkhneviluisk, Suntar and other towns.
