Hello! My name is Ulyana. I graduated from Pskov State University in 2017 with a degree in translation studies. My career started in June 2017 in a Russian-American company named Pleskov Consulting Group/AnalyzeRCM, specializing in medical billing. I have been working there in a position of a billing manager for four years, until July 2021. I acquired many valuable skills during those years. The most important one for me is getting an insight into the USA medical billing and health insurance workflow. I was at the root of the company's origin, so I had to comprehend this occupation from scratch through self-education and new skills development. I consider this point one of my most crucial achievements in that position. Another achievement that deserves to be mentioned is that I was helping the company to get over hard times with the Federal Payer (Medicare) Prepayment Review and deal with it successfully. This experience helped me to learn how to optimize and manage big data workflow. I am acquainted with such medical standards as Current Procedural Terminology, International Classification of Diseases, Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, Medically Unlikely Edit. As a Federal payer specialist, I have experience working with Explanations of Benefits and Electronic Remittance Advice). I operated in such medical billing software as Collaborate MD, Advanced MD, Lab Information System, Electronic Medical Record Systems. I also did a lot of data entry and classification in Google Sheets. Some other critical office worker skills that I have are business correspondence and verbal communication In English, the ability to blind type in English and Russian, and the ability to process and integrate new information quickly. My top five strengths are commitment, attention to detail, willingness to find ways to optimize and speed up the work process, aspiration for self-development, and empathy.
