FUNDRAISING: worked as part of the team to develop connections with corporate and private sponsors/partners that brought both kind and in-kind sponsorship for RFF, as well as other UNHCR projects: corporate sponsors ISHIBASHI Foundation, Canon, SONY, others (in 2008 these connections brought over 200,000 US$ in cash for RFF). Media and other partners: various Embassies, EU Delegation, Japan Foundation, Asahi Shimbun, Lufthansa, etc
MEDIA: together with the rest of the team, to publicized the film festival and work of UNHCR through several national TV and radio stations, major Japanese and English newspapers and , magazines by giving interviews and setting up interviews for filmmakers . The publicity brought by the film festival in 2008 was assessed as an in-kind contribution of over 500.000 US$
