About me
Hello
I am from NYC and have over 20 years professional experience, including over 10 years in education, with also experience in sales, marketing, business, psychology, and social work. I have a BA Degree from Rutgers University, which I graduated in 2000. Since 2010, I have been in Moscow, working as an independent English teacher for various companies, schools, agencies, and individuals throughout Moscow and the surrounding areas.
I can teach all levels and all ages in various areas of specialization in English such as Business, Grammar, Test Prep, Social, Conversational, and technical terminology. I have had success with little children, adolescents, teenagers, adults, and executives, whether they need to prepare for school, exams, work, or just want to speak better. I try try to teach a thorough understanding and mastery of the English language. I use different types of materials from books to the internet, or can have speaking clubs focusing on fun activities and various topics of discussion. I make my lessons interesting and entertaining as well as effective, with many substantial results. I focus on the things my students need improvement in and encourage them to speak while correcting their usage, vocabulary, and pronunciation when necessary. I also have a strong understanding of Russian language and culture, because of my family roots.
