Work with Business partners towards safer working environments on site. Perform audits on validation and verification of required control measures are in place for safe operation. Reporting to management on gaps and achievement. Act and respond to any challenges. Incident investigation. Negotiating deviations if required specific to site conditions. Interviewing work responsible people for verification purposes. Current work also implies other duties gained previously – permit to work knowledge, knowledge in lifting, excavation, work at height etc.

Development of safety trainings, job safety instructions, management of all safety activities on site. Risk assessment. Investigations. Development of standard operating procedures.

Regular site inspections of plant and off-plant facilities; Check of work procedures, operating conditions, processes and tools to identify safety hazards and provide advice on preventive measures; Examination of processes and procedures, which put in place to ensure good health and safety practice; Examination of equipment, machinery and tools to ensure all precautions were put in place as per MSDS; Prepare safety inspection and daily observation reports; Participation in safety audits to ensure compliance with safety procedures; Review and check of permits to work, workers’ certificates; Ensure workers are provided with suitable personal protective equipment; Undertaking safety surveillance in work areas to ensure proper implementation and compliance with all company safety procedures, precautions, rules, PPE etc.; Support and contribution to BBS and IIF programs; Involvement in toolboxes and safety meetings; Review and update safety plans\winter safety plans
