- serve as a representative of Russia to the WTO working bodies on the matters of foreign trade in goods and intellectual property rights; - provide in-house expert support on the above matters; - engage with WTO members and Secretariat within the area of competence; - draft letters and speaking notes for the Ambassador within the area of competence.

- engage with foreign state authorities, Russian trade missions and embassies abroad to prevent and/or remove trade barriers for products originating in Russia; - develop position of the Russian Federation regarding the proposals of the Eurasian Economic Commission to introduce, amend and/or terminate anti-dumping, countervailing and safeguard measures; - manage the team of 10 people.

- engage with Russian authorities of executive and legislative branches, business associations, NGOs and think tanks on the matters of indirect taxation of tobacco products, regulation of cigarette consumption, customs issues, market access of the tobacco products manufactured in Russia to foreign markets; - function as the Secretary of the WG on Tobacco Products of the Association of European Business in Russia; - provide information and advise to other divisions and senior management on fiscal, customs, economic and foreign trade issues; - contribute to market simulations and economic analysis on various fiscal, economic and foreign trade developments.

- conduct antidumping, countervailing and safeguard investigations; - contribute to the drafting of rules of origin for industrial products traded between the CIS countries; - participate in negotiations, working body meetings at the CIS, EuroAsian Economic Community, Custom Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, Union State of Russia and Belarus on the matters of trade remedies, subsidies, completion rules, trade barriers in mutual trade; - participate in capacity building field trips across Russian regions on WTO law.

- liaise with state authorities on trade policy, environment and international cooperation issues; - manage company’s carbon emission trading activity according to the provisions of Kyoto Protocol; - engage with the World Steel Association on the matters of membership in the Association.

- conduct anti-dumping, countervailing and safeguard investigations; - participate in negotiations with the CIS countries on trade remedies, subsidies and competition policies; - draft amendments to the national legislation on trade remedies as part of accession to the WTO; - contribute to the development of Ministry's position during Russia's accession to the WTO; - participate in capacity building field trips across Russian regions on WTO law.
