PhD student (field of research - physical chemistry). PhD work "Physical and chemical properties of functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes". Duties: Functionalization of carbon nanotubes with a wide range of surface groups, investigation of their properties. Synthesis of CNT-polymer composites and investigation of CNTs' impact on mechanical properties of polymer matter. Manipulations with a wide range of analytic equipment: carrying out of thermogravimetry analysis, mass-spectroscopy studies, UV and IR spectroscopy, elemental CHNS analysis, surface and pore volume measurements, mechanical testing of composite polymer films. Routine technical maintenance of the equipment. Supporting of the laboratory needs (consumables material ordering, etc.). Perfoming of the analysis for commercial collaborations.
