Implemented Logistic Regression, Random Forest, XGBoost, and Recurrent Neural Networks. Poetry Analysis ● Application of the Natural Language Processing to the corpus of English poetry, prediction of the era and type of the poems. Topic Analysis (Latent Semantic Analysis) and clustering of the poetry. What's In Your Food? ● This project utilizes Docker, AWS S3, and EC2 instances to build regression and classification models predicting Calorie count and food categories based on ingredients (text parsing). Data Scientist and Ph.D. student combining an education in pedagogy, linguistics, and machine learning. Work experience includes data analytics and digital marketing. Thesis research area is focused on quantitative formalism for text analysis. Pursuing a full-time role while wrapping up my Ph.D. program (expected graduation September 2019).
