The project had the objective to determine and demonstrate the feasibility of the New Commercial Lightweight Helicopter, as well as its affordability. • Prepared, documented and conducted the project organization chart and the establishment of the Joint Committee. • Planned and monitored the project performance. Project Performance Reports based on the Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology. Project configuration management (Windchill and MCM). • RFPs, Subcontracts, Statement of work for the third-party providers. Negations, meetings, sessions. The sub-projects included market investigation, wind-tunnel tests, and production capacity inspections. • Conducted the evaluations and reviews of the alternative helicopter concepts and avionics architectures. Flight simulations and hazard analyses. • Developed the regulatory and engineering framework, which included the helicopter development and certification (FAR27) objectives, scope and budget. • Project reviews and validation of the Helicopter Development program’s baseline.
