• Completed three analytical articles on the topics of EU-Russia relations and the increasing role of China in the Arctic. The articles are accessible via the web-link https://russiancouncil.ru/en/yaroslav-shedov/ and https://russiancouncil.ru/en/blogs/yaroslav-shedov/ • Currently working on two articles which will analyse the benefits for the EU, Baltic States and Russia of the potential participation by Russia in the rail project Rail Baltica. The second article will analyse the modern education system, the decline of the humanities in the schools and universities, the impacts of the modern technologies on cognition and its effect on politics. • Participated in UK-Russia Security Dialogue- European Security organised by UK leading and the world’s oldest think tank RUSI (Royal United Services Institute) and RIAC. During the discussion raised the question of Chinese rising influence in Europe and in the Arctic, and the potential impact that it might have on the sovereignty and security of Europe and Russia.

Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy • Conducted research and completed two in-depth reports on “Political Cooperation in the Arctic” and “More Participatory Democracy to tackle Climate Change”. Proposed further plans of action based on my findings. Both reports were used by the committee for preparation to spring plenary session. • Drafted political analysis and timelines of political developments in Ukraine, Syria, Libya and the Arctic. The information heavily influenced committee's agenda concerning the aforementioned issues.

• Conducted research and data collection on investment proposals to guide the committee’s decisions during meetings with foreign investors at the XI International Invest Forum “Mill of Success” in Belarus Republic.

• By using state of the art technologies, co-created an online-tourism company, aiming to provide high quality authentic trips and unique experiences for tourists travelling to Russia. • Lead the company’s Social Media Marketing campaign. Drafted corporate identity in cooperation with the company “Up Brands”. Managed companies’ Instagram profile. Cooperated with local guides to prepare unique tailor-made tours and lead the companies’ sustainability and eco-friendliness campaign.
