BRF Rule based workflows based on MDG change request types. • Replication model from SAP MDG hub to 6 SAP systems. • Integration via iDoc with segment enhancements. • Data distribution models for master data i.e. centralised IBAN distribution from MDG hub. • Conceptual designs for Material Master Data object on boarding with integration to third party solution. • Current phase of project is the design, development and deployment of Ariba SIM interface to SAP MDG. The custom interface is bidirectional design via PI\PO. Data validations and enhancements are all catered for in the ABAP development. • FPM screen enhancements and Entity Extensions.

SAP MDM Consultant- Implementing SAP NetWeaver MDM for Sasol Group in South Africa. Material , Service and Vendor master sets across multiple SAP instances. Integration with SAP PI, BOBJ Upgrading of SAP MDM service packs and PI upgrade. Additional Second line support and training of Sasol support structures SAP NetWeaver switch frame work deployment and configuration of additional functionality for SAP user base based on business requirements.

• Deliver SAP enhanced search functionality via TREX with enhancements to SAP standard objects to include i.e. material master classification in material search functionality.

• Analyse the implementation of MDM taxonomy structures and taxonomy configurations. Document and develop solution to demonstrate the future approach that the client support structures must implement. • Develop workflow solution for a number of business unit specific requirements.

• Solution architect for the roll out of SAP MDM (2 ERP systems) to an additional 5 ERP instances. Additionally the upgrade of a third party cataloguing solution is in scope of the project and has a close integration with SAP MDM via PI. One of the deliverables of the project is the standardisation of interfaces across client system landscape for SAP MDG deployment that’s currently underway and in design phase. • Deployment of SAP enhanced search for material, vendor and service master data objects. • Enhancements include functionality to search globally across SAP instances via standard “F4” help input from local SAP instance.

• As consultant I’m responsible for planning of phase II of Sasol MDM implementation in line with new consolidation project. Project includes the consolidation of 16 SAP systems to 5 SAP systems and utilising SAP NetWeaver MDM to manage master data through and after consolidation. Data objects included in current scope is Material, Service, Vendor and Customer master data sets across SAP landscape. • SAP MDM SP9 upgrade. • The implementation of Asynchronies landscape with third party applications through SAP PI. • Providing support for current implemented MDM implementation and knowledge transfer to Sasol support structures.

• SAP MDM consultant (T-Systems) on Sasol functional excellence project, phase one scope includes the consolidation of 2 SAP systems (Energy and Chemical) onto one SAP NetWeaver MDM instance. (Material master, Service master and Vendor master data). • Key tasks include compiling of blue print, functional and technical specification documentations inline with Sasol requirements. • Delivering data models for 3 master data components (Material, Services, Vendors) • The integration of third party solution into MDM landscape for material and service master models. • Scoping and setup of syndication between SAP NetWeaver MDM, PI and ERP. • Implementing validation rules on repositories to enforce current business rules. • Setting up of workflows to accommodate current business processes and providing Sasol the functionality to manage master data inline with best practise. • Consolidating master data from 2 systems and providing Sasol the capabilities to further harmonise data post go-live. • Using BOBJ functionalities to manage data quality and interface quality ratings to MDM. • MDS, MDIS, MDSS configuration. • With ABAP developed return message idoc that allows improved idoc error handling.

• Drafting of upgrade plan including functional specification documentation and project plan. (Material and Vendor Master data objects) • Facilitating workshops with business on the new implementation of Vendor models in parallel with the upgrade of material and services models. (5.5 - 7) • Overall responsibility for the delivery of solution from MDM data models to Portal design and set up to have user friendly interfaces. • Integration of third parties e.g. Standard bank, SARS, M2North etc.
