1. Set the merchandising strategy for Puma Russia, Ukraine and Turkey Retail & Wholesale sales channels in accordance with Global merchandising strategy and local market needs to build profitable product assortment that will maximize revenue, productivity and brand experience within the geography.
2. Defined country’s target product. Created country’s product architecture according to planned budget targets for Retail and Wholesale channels.
3. Built segmented product assortments across the market, to optimize, revenue and margin, using sell-out data and consumer insights that enables key and field account segmentation.
4. Delivered an effective Go-to-market strategy in line with Global guidelines by category, style, color, price, flow.
5. Developed merchandising plan and purchase budget with targeted KPI’s. Delivered on-time accurate product forecast in accordance with merchandising plan.
6. Developed purchase for the retail channel. Provided balance of the budgetary purposes (sales, margin, rate of sale, sell through, product representation and size of the commodity remains) with the sales budget and capacity of shops.
7. Presented the seasonal consumer assortment and Global Brand vision to the sales forces (retail, key accounts and field accounts) and insured an inspiring and consistent message that builds brand equity, strengthens Puma’s sport position on the market.
8. Provided consumer insights and opportunities together with the potential gaps in the assortment to the Global team to lead the development of the assortment strategy (CustDev).
9. Provided price calculation. Set up of land cost price, local retail price, margin, according to a target margin, before a season. Introduced of offers on revaluation during and at the end of a season;
10. Managed and developed a team of product managers (footwear, apparel, accessories).
11. Operated in close collaboration with the EMEA Retail and Wholesale Merchandising teams and EMEA Sales team to meet category and assortment needs, commonality and productivity targets .
Achievements: Sales growth in Retail up to 40% (like to like) in 2015 vs 2014 due to improvements in Retail Buy. Sales growth in wholesale channel up to 20% in 2015 vs 2014 due to building effective segmented product assortment for Key accounts and Field accounts. Gross Margin improved up to 5.8% in 2015 vs 2014 due to effective price calculation.
