• Was in charge in full autonomy of projects worth in total over US$ 170 millions within 4 years • Take ownership of the cost control function and ensure integrity of the data being processed • Prepare the cost estimation and forecast of several project execution scenario for presentation and approval of the board. • Derive a realistic forecast of all funds required to completion within the defined budget and schedule • Produce the monthly cost reports and budget vs. forecast variance analysis • Alert directors and managers to critical cost management issues when required and provide them support in the resolving of these issues • Integrate the project cost estimate, work hour estimate, and project schedule into the cost management • Ensure accurate representation of incurred cost • Execute the cost close-out of the projects in charge • Develop, coordinate and manage the implementation of internal procedures to ensure efficient and strong cost controls • Am responsible for the development and maintenance of the staffing plan and its related incurred and forecast to go costs • Review and approve, for cost, all scope related purchase requisitions for goods and services to ensure they are within the scope, the approved budget, and the correct coding is assigned • Review and pre-approve Engineering and Construction major contractors’ invoices. Ensure invoices payment as per contract terms • Provide advice, guidance, and effective coordination with other team members, particularly in regard to cost, planning (forecasting), and procurement matters • Supervise any administrative supporting roles
