- For 5+ years was solely responsible for study of the blockade of NMDA channels by local anesthetics and derivatives. - Using patch-clamp technique studied blockade of NMDA channels of CA1 region of hippocampus by local anesthetics. Revealed structure-activity relationships and the mechanism of the blockade. - Using computer simulation performed subtle kinetic analysis of the experimental phenomena. Deciphered effect of local anesthetics on the channel gating mechanism. - Was involved in preparation of scientific papers, applications for grants and reports. - 8 publications. - The study was supported by 3 grants from Russian Fund for Basic Research: № 02-04-49608, 05-04-49482, 03-04-06620.
