3-month fixed-term employment agreement. Written translations of airline current contarct documents to be submitted to the bank (legal and financial departments, and international section of accountant department): aircraft lease and ground handling agreements, advertising proposals for updating Boeing aircraft software and training (in-service education) of pilots, contracts for passenger processing, agreements for fuel supply and catering in the servicing airports, various service terms and conditions, manuals and regulations, invoices from contractors. Translation of pdf-format documents in Corel Draw to get bilingual versions of documents that look alike, translation of business communications, etc. Certifying (notarising) of executed translations with notary public. Doing optical character recognition (OCR) of non-editable documents (TIFF, JPG, PDF) for their conversion in editable formats (DOCX, XLSX) and subsequent formatting. Aggregation of bilingual documents into translation memories. According to the agreement, the employer was served with a corporate translation memory (TMX) base created of all previously made (in previous years) and currently made (done during my employment) translations of the company. Correction, editing and assisting other employees – mostly the urgent documents for legal and financial departments. The average monthly volume of translations was about 200 conventional pages (1 c.page = 1800 characters with spaces).

Recurrent page layout of the translated texts in Adobe InDesign and any work with pdf and scanned (tiff / jpg) documents. Compiling and maintenance of glossaries for each and every company’s working project. All translations were obligatory done in the CAT programmes: DéjàVu X (main tool), MemoQ and/or Trados Studio 2009-2014 (additional). Sequential interpretations: occasionally, to help the staff, who lack the knowledge of English language, or during negotiations with counterparties, visitors, at notary public, etc. Certification (attestation) of required translations at notary public on the basis of the official translator’s diploma.
