The need was to create specific methodologies and training materials due to a good understanding of the Russian language on the level A2-B1 with minimal use of it at the A1 level. The emphasis in the program was on the transfer of skills from passive to active.
During the lessons student’s conversational Russian became more fluently. On the lessons was used the materials of current news articles with minimal adaptation. Student intensified the knowledge of grammar, increased vocabulary. In communicating with the teacher the intermediate language was completely excluded. Student began to actively use Russian when communicating with colleagues.

At the beginning of lessons, the level of proficiency was A1, but with gaps in the grammar and not enough vocabulary. By the end of training in communicating with the teacher the intermediate language was completely excluded. All gaps in the grammar were removed. Student began to use the language into daily working questions.

About me
I am a native Russian teacher with 7 years of experience. I have a practical experience of private lessons and lessons in mini-groups for different levels. I know the specific characters of different-nationality students, their typical mistakes and how to correct them. I use different linguistic methods and programs available depending on the student's needs including communicative method, which is based on the active practice of language from the very beginning. In the lessons I use different books like “Let’s go!” (“Поехали”), “Russian for beginners” by Y.G. Ovsiyenko, “Russian in exercises” by S.A. Khavronina and A.I. Shirochenskaya and others. Often I make exercises and choose material for lessons by myself. Also I have knowledge and small experience of working with children. I am using English as an intermediary language if it is necessary.
