Task included overflow system design, develop constructability plans, MTO’s and feed routes.  Major earthworks design for the Gateway Pacific Major Bulk Terminal Facility.

• As a design engineer, provide technical expertise and involve in design of integrated water front development projects involving roads, bikeway, storm water management, pedestrian bridge, gangway bridge, retaining walls and bank protection, foreshore rip-rap protection, sheet piles wall, precast piles, cast-in-place concrete pile caps, foreshore wall, columns, bent caps, decks, and barrier walls; steel bridge, asphalt paving; and approach slabs • Co-ordination of sub-consultants and internal design team, conceptual and detailed design, production of tender drawings, contract documents, construction supervision, preparation of construction bids of civil components, participate in pre bid conferences, evaluate post bids documents • Assesses variances from the project plans, budgets and schedules, develops and implements changes as necessary to ensure that the project remains within specified scope and is within time, cost, and quality objectives, and keeps management aware of the situation • Responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating site construction operations, construction observance, prepare complete tender documents and QA/QC, and oversee the production of detailed design drawings • Participated in regular weekly construction coordination meetings with contractors, consultants and clients • Resolve unforeseen field conditions and construction non-conformance with other consultants while enforcing quality • Site assessments and recommendations of conceptual and detailed designs of the harbour improvement projects including relocating or upgrading existing underground municipal infrastructure, access roads, erosion control, storm water management, outfalls and dikes, liaison with consultants, clients and local authorities • Liaison with consultants, clients, vendors and sub-contractors
