Key deliverable of category management team was to create and land an integrated category strategy across all Microsoft Consumer Channels. By helping partners to drive share, revenue, and category profit we aimed to optimize the consumer experience while building preference for Microsoft products. As a Windows devices category manager I played major role in ensuring right assortment and sell-in to retail partners. Also, the team was strategically supporting sell-trough in channel with the help of promo offers and marketing campaigns. I delivered co-marketing campaign with a total budget over $771k. I tracked the efficacy of marketing programs for products and channels, as part of the rhythm of the business (ROB) process. I was responsible for the review and approval of digital media plans, understood and communicated key inputs for long-range plans. I acquired extensive product knowledge of both Microsoft and competitors. I was responsible for: Budget and investments planning. Control of marketing expenses. Strategic planning of key promo offers in retail. Landing positioning and messaging in retail. Execution of promo campaigns together with Channel Marketing and PR teams. Delivery and management of content: product pages, product information. Quarterly preparation of strategic devices line-up. This activity involved negotiating with channel executives market availability, specifications and promo offers driving total share of Microsoft products. Achievements: PC market share growth +1% YoY. Against predicted decline in market share. I have initiated and led marketing campaign aimed at changing brand perception and awareness of Windows devices. As a result, project has been listed among worldwide Best Practices. Our team was awarded with circle of excellence award thanks to the outstanding contribution to the growth and overall success of the company.
