During the internship I had worked on and supported several projects within the department’s functionality. I had automated the monthly reporting process, improved the structure and usability of the sampling ordering tool, created the generation of automatic P&L statements and had been an active contributor to the setting up of the new variance analysis tool. I had also taken on parts of the Financial Business Partners’ workload in composing plan-fact analysis presentations, and determining and explaining the causes for variances.
