Planned and implemented the Support and Maintenance program, in line with Contract Requirements and Customer expectations; Worked with product and design groups to plan ensure maintainability of all hardware and software across all products, systems and subsystems for Maintenance Contract lifetime; Planned and agreed with the Customer on the detailed fault alerting procedures, fault escalation and management, preventive maintenance procedures and maintenance activity reporting; Input into the hiring of the Customer Support team members; Set up all the Customer Support and Maintenance team and resources within the required timeframe; Once the Maintenance phase began, was responsible for day to day supervision of the Customer Support Operations team; Ensured all maintenance activities met the contractual requirements in terms of response time, resolution time, and system availability; Worked with the Vendor Support Manager to ensure support provided by Vendors was of the required quality and response; Provided high level interface and discussion with the Customer on System Support and Maintenance issues; Liased with high level Motorola support groups, product groups and Managed Technical Services management for escalated system faults and issues; Managed and reported costs and expenses as part of the ongoing Customer Support maintenance program; Worked with the EMEA Service Business team to help create & develop further service revenue opportunities within Russia.

Worked with customers, internal departments and third parties to meet overall service level agreements; Operated as the main interface for service issues, utilising network management and information systems to ensure adherence to C&W contractual obligations; Worked with Account team to ensure business retention and contribution to account development; Provided support in resolving billing issues; Helped customers and C&W network operations centers in fault management. Service Delivery: Managed pre-sales feasibility requests and provided feedback to sales persons/customers; Provided pricing and lead time information for local access; Managed orders originating “in-country” and resolved any quality issues; Placed orders with suppliers according to defined procedures; Tracked all component parts of customer orders to ensure that the order is delivered on time; Managed any potential jeopardy situations that may affect delivery; Updated relevant systems for on-line tracking by other parties.

Marketing Department. Negotiated and maintained contracts with suppliers, performed market analysis for CPE equipment, defined and developed pricing policy for new products and services, implemented marketing and business plans for introduction of new products and services, supported Sales department, trained sales personnel, developed customer presentation materials.

Worked with Nortel distributors, and Nortel personnel on developing marketing programmes; Identified new distributors; promoted Nortel CIS approved product line; assisted Nortel distributors expand their market share; Coordinated activities between distributors and Nortel order processing groups; Represented Nortel’s interests on major projects; with Nortel technical staff, participated in obtaining product approvals; with major customers, participated in visits to Nortel’s facilities in other countries; with other Nortel groups, participated in pricing and proposals; undertook competitive analysis and made appropriate recommendations; achieved budget orders and sales.

Space Programs Procurement Division. Assisted with the procurement process for satellite and launch service related contracts, from initiating requests for proposals through the administration of awarded contracts.
