§ Perform a wide range of strategic services needed to increase and protect the value of our Biotech and Pharmaceutical clients intellectual property assets, support client engagements with various functions, including: collecting and analyzing scientific and regulatory data, reviewing intellectual property portfolios for potential investors, performing detailed patent studies and clearance opinions, negotiating licensing disputes. § Interview clients and assess external sources, provide a liaison between our clients managerial personnel and firm’s legal team, participate in ongoing meetings with our clients, interview their managerial and scientific staff on all levels, identify and interview top tier expert witnesses, prepare expert witnesses for depositions and trials. § Contribute to design, preparation, and analysis of various reports, which include: writing expert reports, prepare memos and Excel spreadsheets that summarize analyzed data, prepare exhibits and PowerPoint presentations for meetings with clients, depositions and trials, work with computer databases, perform search and analysis of prior art, literature search and review research articles, review regulatory documents, prosecution histories, deposition transcripts and document production files, digest periodic scientific literature. § Develop and sustain solid relationships with client personnel, visit and interview our clients research and industrial facilities, demonstrate proficiency in up-to-date scientific and legal matters, attend client’s sponsored conferences, identify opportunities to provide additional services, present lectures in the area of biomedical sciences for the firm’s legal personnel and our clients, participate in ongoing training and seminars.
